Training the next generation of antenatal teachers. Beginners welcome. Clinical depth from over ten years on the ward, plus everything you need to run your own classes and your own business.

Who it's for
No antenatal experience at all, just a real passion for supporting parents. You don't need a clinical background to start here.
You've been wondering how to add antenatal teaching to what you offer, so parents can stay with you for the whole journey.
You've realised you don't want to go back to the same old job. You want work that fits around your baby, not the other way around.
Running your own business has been on your mind for a while now, and part of you has been waiting for a sign.
If any part of this felt like you, even a little, this is who the academy is for. There's no one right background for becoming a brilliant antenatal teacher, just a genuine passion for supporting parents.
What to expect
Nothing watered down, nothing left out. You'll leave knowing your stuff, knowing how to teach it, and knowing how to build a business around it.
01
The physiology of pregnancy and labour, taught with the clinical depth of ten years on the ward.
02
Every option in front of parents, so you can explain each one with real confidence.
03
Woven all the way through, so you can support families in the weeks after they're sent home.
04
How to hold a room and make parents feel safe enough to ask the questions they're too scared to ask anywhere else.
05
HMRC, insurance, pricing and marketing, built in from day one rather than left until the end.
and after
You won't be left on your own once your certificate arrives. Support carries on after you qualify.
Why it matters who teaches you
You won't just be learning facts. You'll be learning how to sit across from someone who is scared, excited and full of questions, and give them an answer they can trust.
Hello, I'm Emma
I've spent over ten years in the NHS supporting families through pregnancy, birth and those first few weeks at home. I've seen what parents worry about at 2am, what they wish someone had told them, and what makes a difference in the room.
By Midwife Emma started two years ago as a leap of faith, built slowly in the quiet hours after night shifts and in the evenings after bedtime. It has grown into something I love, and this academy is how that support can reach far more families than I ever could alone.
I'm building it around night shifts and nursery runs, so I know exactly what it's like to learn around a full life. If even one person goes on to become a brilliant antenatal teacher because of this academy, it will all have been worth it.
